Dr. Rory Archer
The social historian with a focus on the 20th century in Southeast Europe concentrates his research on the history of work and gender under socialism, housing, everyday life and popular culture. Methodologically, he works with oral history, grounded theory and other qualitative, interpretative methods that combine social science approaches with social historical research. In his current research project, Dr. Archer is investigating the history of intra-Yugoslav Albanian migration during late socialism.
