The program
... was launched in 2019 and is named after the philosopher Ao.Univ.-Prof.in Elisabeth List (1946-2019). With an external Senior Fellow and two to three Junior Fellows, the selected project can work on specific research, a major scientific event, publications and/or the application for further project funding.
Objectives: Strengthening research - networking - promoting young researchers
The fellowship program creates an optimal research environment for collaborative projects, in which international senior researchers work for several months together with junior researchers from the University of Graz on a common topic and hold a symposium with international participation. Through the fellowship program, the University of Graz strengthens its own gender research in terms of local and international networking. The fellowship serves to stimulate thematic connections within the university and intensifies as well as expands existing international research collaborations.
Selection and quality assurance: Jury of Experts & Scientific Board
An international jury of experts is appointed to select the research projects supported by the fellowship program.
A Scientific Board with representatives from the Gender Cluster HUK, DP Gender and the Scientific Advisory Board for Gender Studies, the Rectorate and the Coordination Centre for Gender Studies and Equal Opportunities is responsible for the program.
