Margareta Kreimer

Margareta Kreimer passed away in summer 2021. She has been a habilitated economist since 2006 and worked as a university lecturer at the Institute of Economics at the University of Graz. She conducted research on gender equality, economic and social policy, care economics, feminist economics and cooperated with the Institute for Advanced Studies Vienna, the economists' network efas (economy, feminism and science) Berlin and IAFFE (International Association for Feminist Economics), among others.

In 2007 she was awarded the Käthe Leichter State Prize for Women's Studies, Gender Studies and Equality in the World of Work (Bundesministerin für Frauen, Medien und öffentlichen Dienst) .
